Every breath of the stroke bears my spirit, nature, life, identity and leaves the vestige of culture, becoming one artifact of our time. It is the insight that occurred at the moment when I was writing my name on the paper. I naturally dashed off one bold stroke of brush on paper, to leave art of myself.

I create art, speak through art to date. My self-portrait is one stroke of intense, blazing Gi-won-sang-dong (氣韻生動), the ideal idiom of painting in ancient China which implies lively spirit, full of vitality and eternity. While the Korean name, 김은아 along with the one written in Chinese character 金恩我 is something that I was inherently given, my art is the one I create. My art seeks the intense power to evoke certain wave and echo from people, so that power could stimulate people with new vision, new paradigm.

Now, my art lies beyond my canvas. I want to devote myself to engaging more people in the art world to help them find their own valuable experience in arts. I will take initiative to create a colossal canvas, ‘Communication’ with the public and introduce them the rich and influential realm of modern and contemporary art.

'With an eye of an artist and a perspective of an art historian.'
