Welcome to the Department of Business, where students study the theories that undergird commerce and business; the methods of the functional areas of commerce and business (accounting, finance, marketing and management); and the broader social and historical perspective of commerce and business. The Business major is excellent preparation for successful entry and advancement in the major functional areas of business.
A major in Business is excellent preparation for graduate study in law, medicine, and each of the functional areas of business. Our majors pursue successful careers in accounting, marketing, sales, advertising, customer relations, financial planning, investment banking, commercial banking, human resource management, not-for-profits, and as entrepreneurs.
The college has several student organizations for those interested in investing and accounting.
The college offers several internships for business majors.
